This Sunday 5/4 from 2-4pm we’ll be welcoming spring through an UBUNTU Perennial Planting Day in the garden! We’ll meet in front of the school at 2:00, then walk back to the garden. Come for the whole time or just drop by. There will be many tasks to help out with, for folks of all abilities, regardless of your gardening experience! Also, there’ll be cinnamon buns from Chile Colorado, bagels, and homemade gluten-free lemon squares!
If you would like to be involved in our school garden in any way (no big time commitment needed), register for the newsletter here!
Garden Visioning
Maisie Anrod, one of our 6th grade teachers/informal garden coordinator, is gathering input about HMS families’ dreams and visions for our school garden, so that what we grow (literally and figuratively) can be rooted in our community. Please fill out this survey, and/or keep an update for an upcoming conversation with BAGELS in the garden!
