Working with Old Spokes Home, Earn-A-Bike offered students the fundamentals of complete bike maintenance and repair, with exposure to mechanic and STEM skills as possible career pathways.
Afterschoolers chose a donated bicycle to overhaul with support and instruction from staff and volunteers. Students also learned about safe riding skills and biking in general.
The best part...students took their bikes home with a lock and helmet!
