This site is designed for middle and high school students. They can learn about the basic needs in a refugee camp, such as shelter, food, water, sanitation, and health care. They can also hear the personal stories of refugees and relief worker. Find out how 39 million people are forced to live today. This site includes a virtual tour of a refugee camp and teacher resources.

Established by concerned American citizens, USA for UNHCR builds support in the United States for the humanitarian work of UNHCR and its partners. They have educational resources and a teacher newsletter on the site. They also sponsor a World Refugee Day Poster Contest for students.

VRRP is the local field office of Immigration and Refugee Services of America (IRSA). They provide a local response to the refugee crisis in the world by providing a variety of services to refugees resettled in Vermont.
