February 1, 2008 - Students at Hunt Middle School enjoyed the closing celebration assembly of the school's Culture Week program. Culture Week, organized by Peggy Weaver and the Students Together on Prevention (STOP) group, recognizes and celebrates the diversity of cultures represented by students at the school. The assembly began with a parade of flags representing the countries of origin of students at Hunt. The assembly featured a Vietnamese fan dance performed by students from Hunt, Edmunds Middle School and Burlington High School, and concluded with a concert by Hunt students and staff who, together with singers from Village Harmony, performed folk songs from around the world.

January 14, 2008 - ESOL Teachers met for an inservice meeting where they discussed program goals and plans for summer school.
