The Sequoia Recycling Project

Use the following links to gather statistics that highlight the importance of recycling.  The ideas that you gather could address:

• Energy saved by recycling

• Financial (money) benefits of recycling

• Environmental benefits

• Challenges (Why can it be hard to recycle?)

• What other kids/adults (people) are doing to recycle

• Anything that stands out or surprises you, that you think others would be interested in.

Remember!  The information you gather from these sources needs to be UNDERSTOOD by you and then PUT IN YOUR OWN WORDS!  Your work on this project is important for many reasons.  More than just a representation of you and your effort, this project has a greater purpose – helping create a healthier, environmentally-conscience community!
